I think a 4.9/10 will be my final score. This is mainly because the movie isn't a REAL Halloween till the third act. The rest is a joke. It's an abomination to add comedic formula to what is meant to be nothing but horror. One of the worst parts of the movie that involved "humor" was when I think his name was Ray Nelson, is messing with peanut butter, mehow accidently got some on the crotch of his pants, and says "Oh man! I got peanut butter on my penis. WHO WROTE THAT DIALOGUE. OR WAS IT AD-LIBBED. Either way, BIG mistake! And he drags that on for another two minutes. This alone is disrespect to the original Halloween formula. There is more cringey atrocity than this, but that's all I will say. The only good scenes involved Curtis and Michael. The movie shoulda been just about those two. Also, this shoulda been at least called Halloween '18. Not just Halloween. It's confusing. One last thing, this crap has the WORST portrayal of teens I have seen in ages! Pure cliche in every scene and terrible acting and dialogue choices. Every scene with these teens is pretty much Disney Channel-level teen drama and stuff. Just terrible...
